National property consultancy, Bruton Knowles, has added a London office to its UK network, to serve a significant and developing client base in the capital and south east region. As part of the move, the business has gathered together a team of specialists from existing personnel and new appointments, that will operate from the new base, with a remit to manage both existing and new clients better served from the capital.

Hired to lead the London office is Senior Associate, Kimberley Turner. Having graduated in 2012 from Northumbria University, Kimberley began her career in the property industry working at Christie & Co developing specific knowledge and expertise in the hospitality, leisure, healthcare and medical sectors, followed by nearly two years at Colliers International, where she focused on undertaking specialist valuation work in the hotel sector.

This latest move to Bruton Knowles comes as the business continues to build a reputation for winning sizeable contracts for national status projects, such as HS2 and Thames Water Tideway. Kimberley comments: “I am really keen to set out a more visible storefront for Bruton Knowles in London. The business has an exceptionally exciting 12 months planned and we hope to share more news soon, but in the meantime, we are keen to open our doors and start up conversations with those that have been eager to see us make this move.

“We’ll also be looking to quickly expand the team, so we’re already on the hunt for those with the energy, drive and enthusiasm to deliver the Bruton Knowles vision.”

The founding London Bruton Knowles team comprises Kimberley Turner, Senior Associate; Guy Emmerson, Partner and Public Sector and Blue Light expert; Nigel Billingsley, Partner and Compensation & Infrastructure Expert; Ian Pitt, Partner and Valuation Faculty Head with Anne Williams, Finance Partner.

James Bailey, Managing Partner at Bruton Knowles, comments: “This new move has always been time critical for us. We wanted to be absolutely sure that we had the right personnel in place to launch the London business as the client portfolio demands a very specific skill set and an uncompromising need for mature and informed consultancy services. This is the optimum time for us and Bruton Knowles is able to respond quickly to the opportunity.

“For those clients, particularly across the utility and infrastructure sectors, headquartered in London & the south, it has become more vital that we are present and have a centre in the region.”
