Law firm Ashfords brings partner total to 72

Ashfords LLP, one of the UK’s leading full service law firms, has announced four promotions to partner and three promotions to associate.

The partner promotions, which take the total number of partners at the firm to 72, and have been made across the partnership, in recognition of continuing development and contribution to the practice, are:

Promotion to Partner:
• Rebecca Dury – Corporate/Banking – Exeter
• Chris Dyson – Corporate – Bristol
• Ben Hogan – Projects/PFI – Exeter
• Victoria Saunders – Residential Property – Taunton

Promotion from Solicitor to Associate:
• Jane Ireland – Corporate – Exeter
• Rory Suggett – Corporate – Bristol
• Laura Tyrrell – Commercial Litigation – Exeter

Rebecca  Dury acts for lenders and borrowers in relation to both syndicated and bilateral financings, including acquisition finance, property finance, invoice discounting, restructurings and refinancings.  She has also worked in-house, having completed a secondment with the Corporate and Commercial legal team of an international bank.

Chris Dyson specialises in private equity & venture capital and mergers & acquisitions. He has particular expertise in the technology sector, advising a wide range of clients including investment funds, established companies, start-ups and spin-outs.

Ben Hogan specialises in project finance, partnering and commercial arrangements in a broad range of sectors, including infrastructure, energy, education, health, transport, waste, electronic identification and IT.

Victoria Saunders specialises in shared ownership work acting for purchasers of properties through Westcountry Housing Association and Aster Group.   Victoria works with a wide variety of other property clients from private property investors and corporate property portfolio acquisitions to first time buyers.
