IT company relocates to Plymouth Science Park

A top specialist IT company, which works its magic to boost the success of companies across the south west, is moving to Plymouth Science Park.

Rowe IT took the decision having been impressed by the excellent facilities available to people working on-site.

The move to PSP is being eagerly anticipated by the team of eight people who specialise in helping big companies transform their IT systems to meet challenging new requirements.

“We work in a number of key areas,” explains company director, Paul Rowe. “We look at existing IT solutions and what it is the client wants to achieve. We then design and develop enhancements or new components to make it happen.

“A particular specialism is ensuring that different client systems can be integrated with other systems to make the whole operation run smoothly.” The company started in 2008 and successfully grew, despite the economic downturn, as it focused on helping the public sector. One of the key areas where the team has shown its expertise has been in helping clients with the storage, access and management of large volumes of data.

“We have a passion for developing innovative systems and solutions which will meet the needs of a client,” says Paul.

Rowe IT is joining an expanding number of high tech companies which are based on Plymouth Science Park. The location, and setting, proved to be a strong feature in the team’s decision to work at the Derriford site.

“Our office will be looking directly south and out to sea with a fantastic on-site café a short walk from our desks. PSP is very convenient to both the A38 and the city centre. There is also a good vibe on-site with strong links to academia and businesses.”

Rowe IT is due to move into its offices at Plymouth Science Park on 1st March.
