reFIT opens its doors at award-winning Welcome Building® in Bristol

reFIT has completed its fit-out and opened the doors to a state-of-the-art gym and studio at the landmark, 207,000 sq ft Welcome Building® in Bristol, delivered in a joint venture between EPISO 5, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners, and Trammell Crow Company.

Providing some of the best, free-to-use, fitness and gym space in workplaces across the city, reFIT has transformed 3,000 sq ft on the Mezzanine level to offer an array of wellbeing facilities, packed with hi-tech equipment, studio space and an enviable schedule of activity throughout the week, all bookable on the building’s app. It sits above the unique, internal ‘Street’, which brings together building users with hotel-style furnishings and a local, independent café, Restore, providing healthy food and beverage options, as well as an auditorium, breakout seating areas, and public art.

Welcome Building® provides the city’s largest available floorplates, ranging from 22,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft, all reconfigurable. To ensure exceptional performance, the development has secured a Design For Performance NABERS UK 5 Star target rating, along with WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore Gold; and is targeting BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications.

The scheme has already been recognised by industry awards, winning the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Development of the Year Award, the Development of the Year (Midlands and South) category at the Unlock Net Zero Awards 2025, and Development of the Year at the Insider South West Property Awards.
