A self-contained, three storey office building on Huntingdon’s Ermine Business Park has been sold to an investor buyer for an undisclosed sum, confirms Eddisons who acted on behalf of the seller in the transaction.
It is understood by the agent that Global House, a 3,552 sq ft modern office property on the Park’s Spitfire Close, is to be used for specialist education purposes.
While Eddisons is not disclosing the final sale price agreed, Global House was on the market over the summer to let or for sale with a guide price of £450,000.
In reporting on the deal, Matthew Hunt, who led Eddisons’ agency from its new Huntingdon office also on Ermine Business Park, commented, “While the office market, locally and nationally, has remained slow since the beginning of the year, our client accepted our advice on pricing to reflect market conditions.
“Consequently, Global House was not on the market for long and the sale was concluded in short order.
“Notably, the building’s new owner sees Global House as giving the proposed education business a marketable London link with the transport connections available locally.”
