Office move opens up greater collaboration for Concept Housing

Nurton Developments is welcoming a new occupier to its Trigate offices on the Hagley Road, with Concept Housing relocating around 40 people to the Grade A offices.

Leaving behind offices spanning three floors to a single floorplate of 3,900 sq ft, Trigate will be Concept Housing’s new Birmingham head office and is designed to enhance its commitment to team collaboration and operational efficiency.

The inclusive, open plan space will enable teams to work more creatively and also make it easier for people with disabilities to access the offices, whilst at the same time offering greater energy efficiency, with an EPC rating of B.

This approach aligns with Concept Housing’s strategy and ethos as a not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative thinking on the provision of social housing and tackling homelessness.

David Fensome, CEO, Concept Housing, said: “The team is thrilled to make the move to our new home at Trigate. We are now able to work together in a modern, open-plan office which is much better for collaboration across our teams. Trigate also has much better access for people with disabilities, as well as improved amenities and parking.

“Ultimately our enhanced working environment means we can continue to improve our services to our residents across Birmingham and nationally.”

David Dyas, asset manager for Nurton Developments, said Trigate’s location, ten minutes outside the city centre on one of the main arterial roads into Birmingham, enabled them to offer occupiers value for money when selecting a well-connected, quality working environment.

“It’s fantastic to hear from the team at Concept Housing that they selected Trigate following an independent consultancy review concluding it was the best option for new, modern, open-plan office premises in the area.

“Trigate has always performed consistently, nurturing up and coming businesses and providing a flexible, value for money base for companies looking for a landmark building offering well-connected space but without the premium seen in the city centre.”

Nurton Developments has invested significantly in Trigate over the past few years adding a new reception area and amenities to promote employee wellbeing, with the addition of new showers, bike storage and breakout areas.

It offers 72,000 sq ft of space across seven floors, with three wings on each floor and is currently let to occupiers including Sky, Rightio and Communicourt.

With the flexible space options available from desk space in Trigate’s business centre to whole floors, Nurton is focussed on helping to nurture businesses within the building and accommodate their growth ambitions.

Trigate has a wide range of amenities on its doorstep including a Costa, Subway and Co-op, with public transport also easily accessible to key suburbs including Stourbridge, Wolverhampton and Birmingham City Centre.
