Saltash office building sold

Acting on behalf of private investors, Monk & Partners have conducted a sale of Tamar House, Forge Rd, Saltash.

Comprising the offices of a former Distribution Company in Forge Road, the building is prominently located fronting the busy Callington Road opposite the Carkeel Gateway Retail Park.

This 3800 sq ft two storey flat roof and part timber clad building was held for 10-15 years as an investment by the previous owners and has now been sold to International Shipping and Logistics company, John Good Logistics Ltd to cater for their expansion and relocation from nearby Coads Green, Near Launceston. Internally the property was refurbished to a high standard by the previous tenants to provide largely open plan floor space with a generous allocation of parking in front.

John Slade of Monk & Partners said “ the building became surplus to requirements to the previous occupiers at the end of last year and John Good happened to be looking to relocate at a similar time. Whilst slightly larger than their current needs, locationally the property made sense and whilst initially only available to let the investors agreed a sale instead.

This is proof indeed the market still remains very active with pent up demand for the limited stock on offer despite the recent economic turmoil.
