Four promotions at GVA Birmingham

GVA’s Birmingham office has strengthened its 360 strong team of property professionals with four associate promotions.

Adam Chapman has been promoted to an associate within the Automotive and Roadside team, Karen Bode to Credit Control associate, Tom Bourton to an associate within the office agency team and John Withers to a Rating associate.

Adam Chapman specialises in the motorway service areas (MSA) sector and has recently been responsible for providing valuation and strategy advice to the Government in respect of 35 state-owned MSAs.

Also receiving promotion, Tom Bourton has provided development and marketing advice to a number of the region’s most active developers of office buildings. Tom is currently on secondment to the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Birmingham-based Global Restructuring Group.

Ian Stringer, senior regional director of GVA’s Birmingham office said: “These four promotions reflect the strength, depth and talent within our Birmingham office, which now employs 360 people and turns over in excess of £20 million each year.

“Having an outstanding team, with individuals like John Withers, Karen Bode, Tom Bourton and Adam Chapman on board, is key to our continued growth. Each of our new associates brings a range of skills and expertise to the company and we are pleased to be able to recognise their on-going commitment, whilst also investing in the future of GVA.”

The latest staff promotions have strengthened the respective business units across the firm, helping to bolster the growth of GVA’s full service offering within Birmingham and the wider region.
