The Bristol office of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has expanded its private capital team with the appointment of two new solicitors.

Jacqui Lazare joins the firm as a senior associate while Georgia Collier has been appointed as a solicitor.

Jacqui specialises in estate planning and Will drafting and all aspects of the creation and administration of trusts and associated tax issues. Jacqui also advises on the duties and responsibilities of trustees and charitable trusts and charity issues.

Joining from Royds Withy King in Bath, Jacqui is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Charity Law Association. She is regularly invited to speak at conferences and seminars on private client issues and charity governance.

Georgia Collier has joined the firm from 1825, the private client legal services arm of Standard Life, and will deal primarily with estate planning, Wills and trusts.

Georgia advises high net-worth clients and their families across Southern England and Wales. She also has a growing exposure to cross-border elements of estate planning and much of her client base has an international footprint.

Georgia qualified as a solicitor in April 2018 and is currently studying to become a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Anthony Fairweather, partner and managing director of the Private Client team said: “We are delighted to have both Jacqui and Georgia join the team at a time when clients are now, more than ever, focussed on planning for their futures.

“It will be great to have their expertise on board in helping our clients and their families to organise their affairs and finances and provide financial security and enhanced quality of life in the future.

“We are a busy team which has seen an increase in instructions recently so we look forward to welcoming the new team members.”
