BTG Eddisons’ industrial and logistics team has secured two major accolades at the Industrial Agents Society (IAS) Awards 2026, recognising its role in delivering some of the most significant occupier transactions in the Milton Keynes market over the past year.

Collectively, the team won Deal of the Year (50,000–100,000 sq ft) for its involvement in the Hampton Brook and NFU Mutual development at Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes, while director Eamon Kennedy was named winner of the Best Agency Initiative award for his work securing UCC Coffee UK & Ireland’s new headquarters at Linford Wood.

The double success follows a strong showing for BTG Eddisons at the awards, with the business shortlisted in three categories. The UCC Coffee transaction was also shortlisted for Deal of the Year (under 50,000 sq ft), alongside schemes and initiatives involving some of the sector’s leading developers and agencies.

The project at Shenley Wood saw industrial automation and control distributor, Routeco commit to a 20-year pre-let on Unit 1, a newly developed 73,063 sq ft warehouse that will serve as the company’s new UK headquarters. The move will consolidate Routeco’s three existing Milton Keynes operations into a single facility, safeguarding existing jobs and supporting future growth within the city.

Developed by Hampton Brook in partnership with NFU Mutual on land owned by Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP), the 145,412 sq ft Shenley Wood scheme is understood to be Milton Keynes’ first carbon-negative-in-operation warehouse development. Both units have been delivered to BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ standards. BTG Eddisons acted as acquiring agent for Routeco, with Eamon Kennedy leading the transaction.

Eamon Kennedy’s Best Agency Initiative award recognised his role in identifying and securing an off-market opportunity for UCC Coffee UK & Ireland at Linford Wood. The deal delivered a new 44,523 sq ft office and warehouse headquarters for the business, enabling it to retain 169 Milton Keynes-based employees while providing future expansion opportunities through adjacent land.

The transaction involved bringing together multiple stakeholders to structure a long-term lease agreement with MKDP, underlining the importance of local market knowledge and established relationships in unlocking opportunities that never reach the open market.

Luke Tillison, managing director at BTG Eddisons, said: “These awards are a tremendous achievement for Eamon and the wider industrial and logistics team. To be recognised by our industry peers for two transactions that have helped major occupiers remain and invest in Milton Keynes is particularly rewarding.

“Both deals demonstrate the strength of the Milton Keynes market and the value that specialist agency advice can bring to occupiers, developers and investors alike. Eamon’s award is especially well deserved, reflecting the expertise, local knowledge and determination required to bring together a complex off-market transaction that delivered an outstanding outcome for all parties involved.”

Eamon Kennedy said: “What makes both of these deals particularly satisfying is that they enabled established businesses to remain in Milton Keynes while upgrading into buildings that support their long-term growth ambitions.

“The industrial and logistics market continues to be driven by demand for high-quality, sustainable space in strong locations. These transactions show that occupiers are prepared to make long-term commitments where the right opportunities exist, and they also highlight the importance of local market insight in identifying opportunities that others may not see.”

BTG Eddisons continues to market the remaining 72,349 sq ft Unit 2 at Shenley Wood, where Eamon Kennedy and Paul Quy are acting on behalf of the development team.

BTG Eddisons’ industrial and logistics team continues to advise landlords, occupiers, investors and developers across the South East, East Midlands and wider UK market, with a growing pipeline of sales, acquisitions and lettings expected to complete throughout 2026.
