Six new deals complete the letting of Wellington House starter units

Hortons has confirmed that all of the newly developed starter industrial units at Wellington Industrial Estate in Coseley are now fully let, following six new lease agreements with local businesses.

Light WRK Productions, RBC Contractors, Bespoke Wigs by Justine, Data Innovations, Dreiston and Chase Equipment have each taken leases on one of the newly built double-height starter units, ranging in size from 675–950 sq ft.

The lettings follow the redevelopment of the former Wellington House building and form part of Hortons’ ongoing investment in Wellington Industrial Estate. The property has been extensively refurbished to provide space for growing businesses, alongside a wider range of high-quality industrial accommodation of up to 40,000 sq ft.

Two units remain available to let, including Unit 51, which extends to 16,484 sq ft and Unit 54, which offers 19,758 sq ft. The units are available on flexible leases with a rent of £6.50 per sq ft subject to terms.

Jeremy Boothroyd of Hortons, said: “When we took the decision to redevelop the former Wellington House building, the aim was to create affordable space that would help local businesses grow. To see every one of the starter units let is hugely rewarding and it’s great to welcome such a diverse mix of businesses to the estate. It shows there is strong demand for this type of accommodation.

“We have two larger units available which offer high-quality industrial space suitable for a range of manufacturing, engineering, warehousing and distribution businesses.”

Wellington Industrial Estate is a secure, well maintained commercial location, strategically positioned just off the A4123 Birmingham New Road, close to Junction 2 of the M5 motorway, and within easy reach of local rail links.
