Freeths advises Brookbanks on CBPE investment

Leading law firm Freeths has advised the shareholders and management team of Brookbanks Development Group on securing strategic investment from private equity investor CBPE.

Founded in 1997, Brookbanks is a multidisciplinary development consultancy specialising in the planning, design and deliver of complex development and infrastructure projects across the UK. Brookbanks provides a differentiated Development Partner proposition, delivering long-term value across some of the UK’s largest strategic development initiatives.

This transaction will support Brookbanks’ next phase of growth through continued investment in its people, expansion of service capabilities, geographic growth and a targeted acquisition strategy. Brookbanks will continue to be led by CEO Andrew Thorley, Chair Paul Boileau and the existing leadership team.

The Freeths team was led by Corporate Partner Mohammed Abbas. He was supported by Employment Partner Laura Tracey, Banking & Finance Partner James Dyson, Tax Director Alex Angelides, Corporate Senior Associates Kirsty Paterson and Shailen Hinglajiya, Employment Senior Associate Niamh Hogg, Corporate Associate Lasharna Barnett and Tax Associate Megan Woolley.
