Phase 1 of Gildersome Business Park in Morley, West Yorkshire is now fully let following the completion of a 10,000 sq ft letting to MEWA UK Textile Services Ltd at Unit 1 and deals with Yorkshire Housing on the final two 1,730 sq ft Nano Park units.
MEWA UK Textile Services Ltd, part of the international Mewa Group, has taken Unit 1 on a 10-year lease, completing occupancy across the first phase of the development, which comprises the eight-unit Gildersome Nano Park and the standalone 10,000 sq ft Unit 1.
The eight Nano Park hybrid office/workshop units each extend to 1,730 sq ft and together with the 10,000 sq ft Unit 1 provide a total of almost 24,000 sq ft of modern employment space.
Developed by Bradford-based property company Frank Marshall Estates and The Nano Park Company, the scheme was designed to meet demand from start-ups, growing businesses and SMEs seeking flexible, high-quality accommodation in a strategic location close to Junction 27 of the M62.
Occupiers at Gildersome Nano Park now include Glen Dimplex, DB Automotive, Yorkshire Housing Ltd, MediMD, Honey Hut Limited, Telstar and MEWA.
Dani Raunjak, Associate Director, CBRE said;
“The success of Gildersome Business Park demonstrates the strength of demand for high-quality industrial and business space in strategic locations along the M62 corridor. Achieving full occupancy across Phase 1 is a significant milestone and reflects the appeal of both the smaller Nano Park units and the larger standalone accommodation. These modern starter and grow-on units play an important role in the regional supply chain.
“With Phase 2 already consented, comprising 45,000 sq ft of space serving the small and mix box markets, we’re excited to see the next chapter of the scheme come forward with construction commencing in 2027.”
Edward Marshall of FME & the Nano Park Company said:
“The success of these developments really comes down to a solid team effort. We would like to thank Marshall CDP for selling us the land, Chris Balme of Percy Pickard Contractors for building the product and Danni, Mia and Max at CBRE and Carter Towler for doing such a good job of letting the finished buildings. Without the help of the above we would be nowhere.”
CBRE and Carter Towler acted jointly on behalf of developer Frank Marshall Estates.
