A company which specialises in designing innovative loudspeakers for aesthetically-driven venues globally has expanded into new premises in Dorset.
Void Acoustics signed a 10-year lease on a 23,422 sq ft warehouse and first-floor offices at Unit L, The Fulcrum, Vantage Way, Mannings Heath, Poole.
Property consultancy Vail Williams acted on behalf of Void Acoustics, which serves world-renowned music destinations such as Boomtown, Studio 338, Eden Ibiza and Glastonbury with curated collections of loudspeakers and immersive sound.
Bryony Thompson, a partner working from Vail Williams’ Bournemouth office, said: “Void Acoustics, a specialist in innovative loudspeakers, required larger premises due to expansion from a growing range of markets.
“These include festivals, events, restaurants, cafes, hotels, resorts, live music venues, retail outlets, residential, corporate, galleries, museums, nightclubs, bars, gyms, fitness, beach bars and poolside.
“Void Acoustics had outgrown two units on an industrial estate at Dawkins Road in Poole, which were less than half the size of the new premises.”
Sibbett Gregory acted for the landlord of Unit L at The Fulcrum, Cooney South, with commercial law firm Steele Raymond acting for Void Acoustics.
Bryony said: “Void Acoustics is the latest company we have acted for in leasehold acquisitions, providing local market knowledge, identifying suitable premises, negotiating lease terms and overseeing the legal process to a successful outcome.”
The Fulcrum is a modern development of high-quality warehouse and office buildings; Unit L has a large yard for loading and parking, with fencing, a gated entrance and CCTV.
Close by is Mannings Heath Road, which links to the A3049 Dorset Way dual carriageway which provides access to the A35 to the west and the M27/M3 motorway network to the east via the A31.
