Town Planning – Manchester

One of the UK’s leading property consultancies in Manchester is currently seeking a new Planner or Senior Planner to join their established team.

Should you wish to apply for this role you must be fully MRTPI qualified or on the cusp of completing your licentiate membership. In this role you will be working across a wide variety of developments including Residential, Retail, Infrastructure and Mixed use developments, so experience in these areas would be of benefit allowing to hit the ground running as it were.

As a successful candidate you will have a chance to work with an enviable list of clients including landowners, developers, commercial entities and property companies. Through these clients you will be utilising you planning knowledge of the North West to provide comprehensive planning advice on some challenging and complex developments, you will also have the chance to work on smaller developments in a more independent fashion ton increase your network and allow more ownership.

As part of the organisation there are numerous chances to develop your career and hone your skills further as well as the chance to take ownership of work and begin to develop your network. The team also fosters a culture of mentoring where you will be working closely with the directors and associates who will provide guidance and advice should you need it.

Experience within a private practice consultancy environment will put you in the best possible position for the role as well as experience across a wide range of developments. We will consider looking at those with a client-side or development management background at a similar level as long as they have a commercial mind-set. Relocators are also an option should they be able to show good knowledge and understanding of the area and its policies as well as a commitment to the move.
