Town Planner – Northamptonshire

A leading property consultancy based in the Northamptonshire has recently instructed Beach Baker in their search for a Town Planner.

This role provides a great opportunity to work across a wide selection of exclusive clients that include a number of land owners, commercial and residential developers, corporate organisations, and property companies. This variety of clients is mirrored by the variety of types of applications you will be working on, this includes, residential, commercial, and mixed use, so experience in these areas would be ideal.

Ideally you will either be recently qualified MRTPI or a licentiate member on your way to completion. With regards to your experience you should have a couple of years under your belt within either a private consultancy or local authority although private sector experience is preferable a commercial mindset for planning is key.

This team has a strong idea of internal professional development, and this role will give you a chance to work closely with the director on some key clients, with the aim of eventually allowing you to take ownership and develop your own contacts and clients. You will be provided multiple opportunities to advance and develop at a pace you are comfortable with and in line with your objectives.
