Town Planner (London)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a town planner to join an expanding planning consultancy specialising in central London work based in the heart of London’s West End. You will be joining an established team and be working with a great client base mainly within the residential/mixed-use arena in zones 1-3.

The work will be mainly a mix of residential and mixed-use application based work and your role will include monitoring, registering and validating such applications, submitting the applications and planning history research as well as site appraisal and general planning advice to the firm’s client base. This firm is very progressive and are keen to give you as much responsibility as you would like to take on, meaning that you will progress quickly if you have the right attitude and work ethic. This firm are invested in growing the team and have a strong business plan in place going forward, this is a great time to join them.

We are looking for a planner with some experience in development management either from a public or private sector environment. You should have a completed masters degree (RTPI accredited) with a minimum of 18 months experience. Full APC support is available for your eventual RTPI submission should you require it. The successful candidate will be client facing, possess strong written and communication skills, a good understanding of the planning application process and excellent time management skills.
