Strategic Land Manager

Working for this leading private property firm, you will be the first appointment specifically focused on the county of Yorkshire. The organisation as a whole pride themselves on a long heritage or organic success in the property, construction and development space.

This role fits within their specialist property team, which has one of the UKs most successful land development teams. They develop and reclaim land for commercial and residential property development. The property team are integrated well into the wider business, which works together to seamlessly deliver development projects.

As Strategic Land Manager, you will be responsible for all interaction with land owners whether they be private landowners, councils or estates. You will be responsible foor new business development and securing deals and rights on new sites within Yorkshire. The development is primarily residential although there are some commercial projects.

The role will be home based but with expectation of office visits 1 or 2 times a week. The successful candidate will be a Chartered Surveyor/Planner as it is critical that they have the experience to translate complex property matters to non property professional. You will also work closely with the organisations internal planning team.

It is expected that you will have a current network in the area and have an established presence.

The role offers a basic salary, plus car, plus commission on deals.
