Senior/Associate Planner (Buckinghamshire)

A great opportunity has arisen for a chartered planner to join an expanding consultancy in the Buckinghamshire area. This firm have an excellent reputation across the country but particularly across the central England/East Midlands region. The office has a very friendly and supportive environment and you will be joining an established planning team with a long-standing and impressive client list.

We are looking for MRTPI planners operating at Associate level or a strong Senior Planner who is confident in taking leadership on schemes and in a client facing environment. The projects are varied and include residential, mixed-use, rural and education schemes, the team are involved with S106 work, viability studies, applications, appeals and site promotion so there is lots of variety within the role. Private sector experience is preferred but local authority backgrounds will also be considered if you have experience in both a development management and policy capacity from the local area.

This is an expansion position to strengthen the team in the Buckinghamshire office. We are looking for candidates who are very comfortable in client facing situations and confident in their planning advice on a wide variety of uses. You should be able to show a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships whilst being an excellent representative of the company. You should be aware of how to generate business development opportunities and have a good knowledge of policy across the region as well as good contacts.
