Senior Surveyor

A leading property advisory has exclusively instructed Beach Baker to recruit a Retail and Leisure Surveyor to base in Bristol. You will be exposed to excellent variety of clients including many leading restaurant groups, international retailers and household leisure operators.

The role will be focused on providing agency and professional advice to Retail and Leisure clients. You will be fully competent in ideally Landlord & Tenant and retail/leisure agency with some post qualified professional experience. We are seeking a candidate capable of working independently, managing a high volume workload and in a direct client facing role.

The day to day responsibilities of the position will involve a mix of transitional, asset management and some professional Landlord and Tenant. The successful candidate will be required to operate in a highly competitive marketplace requiring broader business awareness and skills to provide a added value service. You will also have a keen interest in the wider market trends of the retail and restaurant sectors and be responsibility for direct reporting to clients.

You must be able to manage individual instructions from identification through to completion and be financially aware and understand key measures of revenue and margin. In depth knowledge of the property market and the ability to transact deals with minimal supervision will be required. There is also the opportunity to progress to director level and manage your own team of surveyors and support staff once proven in the role.
