A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chartered town planner operating at Senior Planner level to join a leading consultancy in Kent. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, working with an established client base of both public and private sector clients.
The project work is very interesting and will involve medium – large scale residential and mixed-use schemes as well as strategic advice and LDF/Site promotion work. At this level you should be able to demonstrate a good grounding in development management work, good client facing skills and be confident in networking/building your own profile whilst adding to the companies. You will ideally have strong residential project experience and have a good working knowledge of the South East as well as local policies.
You will ideally be MRTPI qualified and have good consultancy experience (although local authority experience will also be considered from nearby authorities). Candidates should also have good project management skills. You should competently be able to manage small-medium size schemes independently and work on larger and more complex schemes with some assistance.
