Senior Planner / Associate – Birmingham

One of the UK’s leading property consultancies has recently instructed Beach Baker in its search for a several new Senior/Associate Town Planners for their offices in the Centre of Birmingham.

If you wish to apply for this role you will need to either have experience operating at an associate level or looking to take a step up to that level. You will also need to be fully MRTPI and ideally have the majority of your experience based within a private consultancy. We will consider candidates who are from a local authority background or developer background on an individual basis, what is important however is that you have a commercial mindset.

As part of this role you will be working primarily on residential and mixed use developments so experience working on these sorts of projects would be ideal. Whilst the ability to bring work would be a distinct advantage for the role, it is not a mandatory requirement, as this consultancy has an abundant amount of work for you to get involved with. You will however need to have experience leading projects and being the face of projects providing clients with comprehensive planning advice. At the associate level you will also be required to mentor and help develop more junior members of staff and help them towards completing their APC.
