Salary £55,000 – £65,000

Our client, a leading national firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, are looking for a Senior Surveyor to join their Central London office within the Building Consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in party wall and neighbourly matters.

Providing property advice to over 50% of the FTSE 100, they hold some of the largest operational investment and non-operational properties to deliver the maximum return to clients. They now want to build a number of specialist teams to develop relationships with key clients and parts of the business where they see strong synergies. In particular, party wall matters is an area where they have already established strong relationships and are now looking for an individual to lead this part of the business.

The successful candidate will join a team which prides itself on strong and productive relationships with many other parts of the business including their agency, investment, planning and development teams. You will be expected to build upon the portfolio of clients from your existing expertise. As the leader within this specialist area, you will be mentoring junior members ensuring they reach their potential. Although Party Wall matters will be your primary focus, it is recognised that it may take time to build this team and as a result you will be expected to contribute to the wider Building Surveying team.

The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified and a minimum 2 years PQE, with a strong focus on party wall matters gained within a professional surveying practice. As leader within this specialist area it’s essential that you have strong business development skills and you’ll be able to identify areas of commercial opportunity for future development.
