Senior / Associate Rural Building Surveyor

Beach Baker is pleased to be instructed by a leading property consultancy to recruit a Rural Building Surveyor at Senior or Associate level to be based in Somerset. The role represents a super opportunity for a confident but considered surveyor to develop and lead the existing team of three that provide qualified architectural support.

Primarily a rural sector role initially, duties will encompass a full range of professional services to include; contract administration and project management, preparing scheme designs and specifications, project monitoring, advising on CDM regulations and preparing schedules of dilapidations. The role will allow the successful candidate to network in the local area to bring on new instructions outside of the rural sector and as such this is a genuine career development role to gel and build the existing team.

Naturally, you should have a genuine interest in and knowledge of traditional construction and rural life working with heritage sector listed buildings. The position will require getting your wellies dirty, as well as producing detailed specifications having secured instructions.
