Residential Block Manager – Home Based – North West

My client is one of the leading leasehold block management companies in the UK with tens of thousands of leasehold flats and freehold houses with estate charges under management. On their behalf, I am seeking a residential block property manager in the North West to cover a portfolio of 22-26 sites, (circa 1000 units) which could be tweaked to suit your location in relation to the other property managers. I am therefore keen to see CVs from candidates who are based in either the greater Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington or Lancashire areas and have existing residential block management experience.

Working from home with substantial office back-up to include support with insurance claims, budgeting, legal matters, services contracts and close links with the other managers in the region, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive and client facing persona to join a company that offers market leading benefits and longer term progression in the leasehold management sector.

Salary of £26 – £32,000 depending on experience plus company car or allowance, above market annual leave, health-care scheme (after probationary period), pension,

If you are an existing residential block property manager in the North West, a re-locater or returner to the area, or working in another sector such as; Facilities Management, a Registered Social Landlord or Local Authority housing management department and like a varied, busy role, I would like to hear from you. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years experience of managing their own residential portfolio or have attained IRPM, AIRPM or AssocRICS qualifications.

You will have some or all of the following attributes; skills in customer services, possess client facing confidence, have technical built environment knowledge, excellent communication skills, be financially and figures savvy, have good organisational ability and a commitment to going the extra mile for clients.

Duties will include service charge formulation, responding to maintenance requests, inspecting internal communal areas, overall fabric of buildings, grounds, associated services such as lifts, utilities consumption, shared TV systems, pumped water systems etc and completing relevant visit reports, handling or referring insurance claims, being able to interpret building plans and running your own AGMs and RMC Director meetings.
