Renewals Negotiator

Beach Baker Property Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading UK private property company to recruit a Renewals Negotiator in its London Bridge office.

The company is a well renowned brand in the UK residential property sector with a portfolio of over 3500 rental property assets. The Renewals Negotiator will be responsible for progressing and processing tenancy renewals on an allocated portfolio, working closely alongside the property management team.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Negotiating best contractual terms for our clients and Property Management teams in terms of rents and length of tenancy.
  • Negotiate and work towards maximum rental uplifts in line with client parameters.
  • Responsible for all administration in relation to renewal tenancy processing, progressing and closure of renewal in timely manner.
  • Collecting and negotiating referencing fees before exchanging the contracts.
  • Maintain office paperwork and procedures to a high standard and in line with company practices and procedures.
  • Maintain regular contact and liaison with credit control regarding the arrears and rent in advance payments.
  • Update and produce weekly and monthly report for renewal tenancy progress.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary and monthly commission payments on all deals closed. The salary will be increased for the first three months whilst settling into the role. Working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. Candidates for this role should be an experienced Negotiator, preferably with a good knowledge of residential lettings. They will need strong communication skills and be used to managing a high volume workload. ARLA 1 qualification is desirable.
