Quantity Surveyors – Graduate to Senior

Beach Baker are delighted to be working with an independent construction cost and project management consultancy in the Hampshire/Dorset area. Due to continued growth within their public and private sector clients they now seek to make several Quantity Surveyor appointments to enhance their team, working on high profile, high value projects from Graduate to Senior level, reporting into regional Director.

These roles represent great opportunities to develop your career working on market leading projects in a fabulous part of the South of England. With access to all the amenities and lifestyle options that Hampshire and Dorset offers; good schools, Jurassic coast and outdoor pursuits, our client would suit ambitious quantity surveyors from within the area, or re-locators from London.

You will have experience of; budget preparation at design stage, managing tender processes, including reporting and recommendation for award, drafting contract documentation, full post contract and cost management activities including negotiation and agreement of changes, preparation of valuations, cost reporting, interim and final accounts, attending meetings with clients, contractors and project stakeholders and provision of Employers Agent and Project Management Services.

Our client likes candidates who will go the extra mile and show commitment to work and outside interests, have experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract, strong team working and stakeholder liaison skills, with excellent written and IT skills. Candidates should ideally be MRICS, though experienced candidates with progressed APC diary will be considered with full support to qualify.
