Project Manager – Healthcare

Beach Baker are pleased to be instructed on a Project Management position with a leading consultancy, though embedded client-side working with the Project Executive to influence project initiation criteria for the creation of new health-care facilities circa £700m. You will be responsible for the delivery of agreed work-streams to progress to full business case decision work and on longer term programme objectives.

Ideally professionally qualified, MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, and with exposure to or qualified in Prince2 and MSP, this project management role is a long term one to include project life-cycle milestones in pre-construction, planning, procurement and occupation phases of the facility, with the role evolving over time.

Ideally you will have public sector, government agency or consultancy experience, preferably in health/science/technology sectors and be available to start in late July or August. Our client will consider candidates seeking fixed term contract or day rate, but preferably a permanent position with this being a long term project. You must have experience and in depth knowledge of projects in the design, construction, process or transformational fields.

On offer is a comprehensive benefits package commensurate with experience and our client will be candidate led in terms of remuneration, the ideal hire is more likely in the £40,000 to £60,000 bracket, though capable junior candidates and those with more experience will be considered.
