Planner/Senior Planner (Kent)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chartered town planner to join a well-established consultancy in the heart of the beautiful county of Kent.

This role would suit an MRTPI planner or senior planner with good experience of residential schemes. There is really good progression with this role with more planned expansion on the horizon. We are looking for a minimum of 2 years’ experience, either from the public or private sector but ideally having dealt with application work rather than a pure policy background.

The project work is varied but has a lean towards residential and mixed-use schemes and would provide the opportunity to get involved with the pre-application stage, public consultation, preparing and submitting applications, site promotion work as well as good client exposure which will give you excellent commercial experience.

You should have strong report writing and communication skills, be confident in client facing situations and work well to tight deadlines.
