Planner / Senior Planner – East Midlands

Beach Baker are pleased to have received instructions from one of the UK’s leading Planning Consultancies to work on some key developments from their offices in the East Midlands.

We are looking for those candidates who are fully MRTPI qualified with about 2-3 years post qualification experience under their belt. Ideally this experience would be achieved within a private consultancy although we will look at those who are operating at a similar level in a development control position.

You will be primarily working across a variety of major Residential developments across the East midlands so being located in the area as well as an in depth understand of local policy will be of great benefit. This position will also suite those candidates who have a strategic background in planning engaging in various site promotions and 5-year land supply calculations.

This is a very client facing organisation and therefore you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to provide comprehensive planning advice. You will also be involved in the negotiation of S106 agreements and will have to liaise regularly with various government bodies and other third parties.
