Planner (London)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a town planner to join an expanding planning consultancy specialising in central London work based in the heart of London’s West End.

We are looking for a planner with circa 2-4 years’ experience with flexibility either side for the right candidate. You will have development management led experience either from a public or private sector environment.

The work will be a mix of residential and mixed-use application based work mainly and your role will include monitoring, registering and validating such applications, submitting the applications and planning history research as well as site appraisal and general planning advice to the firm’s client base. This firm is very progressive and are keen to give you as much responsibility as you would like to take on, meaning that you will progress quickly if you have the right attitude and work ethic. This is a small team planning on doubling in size this year alone with a strong business plan in place going forward, this is a great time to join them.

The successful candidate will be client facing, possess strong written and communication skills, a good understanding of the planning application process and excellent time management skills.
