Planner – Birmingham

Posted on: 04/05/2016 ~

Beach Baker are pleased to announce that they have been exclusively retained by one of the UK’s leading planning consultancies to search for a Town Planner to join their West Midlands based team.

We are seeking licentiate or recently qualified MRTPI candidates to work across a wide variety of residential and mixed use developments. With an enviable book of clients this reputable firm works with some of the UK’s most prestigious housebuilders and commercial developers, property companies and landowners.

A great believer in personal development this consultancy has a culture of promoting internally, with the majority of its directors having originally been Planners or Senior Planners upon originally starting. Candidates should be able to liaise with clients confidently as you will often be in attendance with Associates and Directors when meeting with clients on site.

An excellent understanding of local planning policies in the West Midlands area and experience working on residential schemes will be needed, ideally attained in a consultancy environment. We will consider looking at those with a client-side or development management background at a similar level as long as they have a commercial mind-set. Relocators are also an option should they be able to show good knowledge and understanding of the area and its policies as well as a commitment to the move.

To apply for this role please do not hesitate to contact Kyle Lynch for a confidential conversation. We aim to get back to all applications; however, due to the volume of applications we receive, we are not always able to do so. If you have not received a response within 4 – 5 working days, please assume your application has not been successful this time round. We will confidentially retain your details and will not release any information without your express consent, having first consulted you.
