Interim Property Management

Beach Baker has been instructed to recruit a property surveyor on an initial 6-month contract working within the public sector
My client is looking for a candidate to make an immediate impact therefore the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the management of properties and have a strong understanding of rent reviews and lease renewals on the commercial sector.
Responsibilities Include:
– To assist the property team leader on delivery of property projects, taking the lead on specific property projects as necessary
– To negotiate with tenants, purchasers, property and land owners on leases, licences, easements, disposals, covenants and other property transactions and to work with legal services to ensure that transactions of property are dealt with in a timely manner
– To implement the actions in the councils’ asset management plan and work with service teams to support them in asset management matters
– To use and the property and asset management system to increase the quality of property data and use this as a basis for measuring and benchmarking the performance of the assets.
