Graduate Building Surveyor – Multinational Firm – HAMPSHIRE

This firm, established over 20 years ago, currently have over 800 clients on their books. Their success is evidenced through the fact that in 2016 alone, they carried out over 5000 instructions in a wide variety of industries. Growth has enabled our client to recruit another member to their dynamic team, in order to assist their colleagues with a mix of professional and project based building surveying work on all types of office, industrial and retail property.

The company have an extremely high APC pass rate, and are renowned for their support and success with their trainees, enabling them to become Chartered.

Job responsibilities:

• Assist in providing project and professional work (including schedules of dilapidations, defect diagnosis, party wall awards)
• Aid in coordinating portfolio and building surveying instructions
• Support project work
• Adherence to Health & Safety procedures

Candidate requirements:

The successful candidate will have a RICS-accredited degree/MSc in Building Surveying, with some work experience in commercial property and AutoCAD being desirable. This ambitious graduate will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to work both autonomously and in a team. Additionally, the post-holder will have excellent communication and organisational skills and must be motivated and proactive. The candidate will also have a clean driving licence.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of £20,000 – £24,000. Furthermore, after the qualifying period, you will have access to private health and pension schemes and the firm will also pay for the candidate to sit the APC, and also their subsequent membership costs.
