Facilities Manager – West London

My client is a leading Property Management firm with offices across the UK. Due to some recent internal changes, we are seeking an experienced facilities professional to take ownership for a portfolio of industrial (and some commercial) properties across West London.

The Role

  • Manage the relationships with landlords, tenants and third party contractors.
  • Ensure the buildings are presented and managed to the highest possible standard.
  • Provide regular reports on contractor and financial performance.
  • Prepare and manage the service charge budgets.
  • Manage capital works programmes.
  • Follow contractual guidelines for managing the asset as prescribed in the Management and Leasing agreements.
  • Interact with tenants in a proactive and professional manor.
  • Ensure that the highest priority is given to the health and safety of all occupants.

The Candidate

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Ideally you will be a Member of BIFM and IOSH qualified.
  • Previous experience of management large multi tenanted sites is essential as is the ability to prepare and manage the service charge budgets.
  • Proven background in management of industrial properties would be ideal.
