Facilities Manager

Our client is a leading property management firm. We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to manage a premium, commercial, office in Cambridge city centre. This site has recently been through practical completion and is fully occupied with high-profile tenants and retail & café units at ground level.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the building whilst regularly liaising with occupiers as the principal contact for advice and guidance on the physical operation of the site. They will oversee all contractor activity, ensure health & safety compliance and continuously look at efficiencies and improvements. The FM will work closely with the property management team to assist in the financial management of the property and report any occupier issues that need to be addressed.

The successful candidate must have a proven background working within a managing agent environment. As this is a new building, with some snagging and technical issues, we require an individual with a strong technical understanding. Naturally strong customer services skills are a must, as is the ability to manage and control service charge budgets.
