Beach Baker are delighted to have been instructed by a Local Authority to recruit for an Estates Surveyor, within their Estates Team. Candidates will be considered both on a Permanent and Contract basis.
This is a newly created role as is a good opportunity for an MRICS Surveyor to provide a range of General Practice services on a predominantly commercial portfolio in the South West. The role is heavily asset and property management led and other day to day responsibilities will include:
- Acquisition and Disposal work, as well as carrying out negotiations where appropriate
- Carrying out Professional services, including Valuations and traditional L&T work in respect of the commercial portfolio
- Rating Assessments and the provision of property advice
- Assisting in the implementation of major development, regeneration and infrastructure projects
It is anticipated the post holder will have good knowledge of UK L&T law and Valuations, as well as your MRICS qualification. Experience of working within a similar environment, as well as part of a wider Estates Management team will also be suitable.
