Construction Director

My client is a privately owned Property Company that are currently looking for a Construction Director with a strong construction background to join their London team.

This role will involve regular traveling between sites in various stages of construction and development in order to assess sites and work in closely with contractors and office staff in order to ensure that works on site.

Experience:-

• MRICS preferred however relevant experience considered in its place
• Construction related degree
• Broad knowledge of construction
• Minimum 6 years PQE
• Ability to accurately cost schemes from an early stage
• Good understanding of building and planning regulations
• Experience in putting together project tenders and agreeing JCT’s with contractors
• Project management experience
• Understanding the implementation of health and safety issues on building sites
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Site based/office based opportunity with regular commuting between various sites and main office
