Client Finance Manager – Associate Director level

Beach Baker is currently working with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit an Associate Director level Manager of Client Reporting, within a Client Finance department of c. 50 people.

This person will be responsible for leading a team of around six Client Accountants who provide accounting services to both corporate occupier and investor clients in property management.

As a member of the department’s Senior Management Team, the Associate Director will be required to support by:

• Managing Client Reporting teams to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to meet the clients’ accounting needs.
• Ensuring service levels and other targets agreed with clients and internal teams are met, monitoring key performance indicators and reporting on a regular basis in accordance with client and departmental requirements.
• Ensuring all statutory, legislative and internal process requirements are met, including requirements of HMRC and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
• Working with the Head of Client Finance to create and continuously improve the client accounting capabilities and ensure the department is recognised as a leader in its field.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and experience of accounting management operations, ideally from a client accounting or property management background. This should include internal & external financial reporting, finance operations and processes. Candidates will also need strong people management skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to the provision of excellent customer service.
