Building Surveyor – Oxford

Beach Baker is working with our client to source a Building Surveyor/Senior Building Surveyor for their accessible Oxford office. The project and building consultancy team provide design, contract administration and project management services and manage a diverse range of clients including those in the utility, education, heritage and corporate sectors.

The role will predominantly comprise building and civil design and contract administration and you will be closely aided by a team of CAD technicians with detailed drawing packs will be produced for clients. During the works phases regular site visits will be carried out to ensure the works are being completed as per the design.

With a varied spread of work in the office, this key appointment will focus on the niche utilities sector (high voltage connections, sub-station design, bunds, and general asset replacement and improvement), so candidates with building consultancy and engineering experience/appreciation (in terms of supply logistics) will be of great interest. If this is your niche now, this role will allow you to continue with your expertise but also gain exposure to other projects within wider fee earning streams and core building surveying duties. The role will allow you to work closely with clients and the position is an opportunity to work alongside an established experienced team.

The existing team are based in the nearby Oxfordshire and Cotswolds areas so if you are based close to the A34, A40, A44, A418 or A420, the daily commute to the office could be more attractive than the London pull!
