Grade A, multi-tenanted building requires an experienced Building Manager.
A national property consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Building Manager to take ownership of a commercial, multi-tenanted building in Bristol, approx. 160,000sq ft.
Reporting to the Property Manager, your responsibilities will include; overall day to day operational responsibility for all communal areas, ensuring all H&S statutory compliance is adhered to and to liaise with tenants and visitors.
You will also be accountable for assisting with the preparation and management of the service charge budget, whilst reporting on any changes and works due.
Contractor management will be a major part of your role, you will appoint and manage the appropriate contractors and constantly review performance.
You will also take control of all maintenance issues, including reactive and planned schedules and minor project works.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a single site Building Manager for a similar size building. You will have a strong knowledge of setting and managing service charge budgets with excellent customer services skills. Current H&S legislation knowledge is essential, as is the proven ability to manage on-site contractors. Culturally, my client is seeking a candidate with excellent presentation skills and a confident character.
