Job Title: Associate – Building Consultancy

Location: Central London

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

Our client, is a national market leading firm of chartered surveyors and property consultants. Our client, a leading national firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, are looking for an Associate to join their Central London office within the Building Consultancy team.

Providing property advice to over 50% of the FTSE 100, they hold some of the largest operational investment and non-operational properties to deliver the maximum return to clients. They are now looking to build their Building Surveying team in London are looking for an Associate to broaden the structure of their team.

The role will include a wide range of professional services including, technical due diligence surveys, dilapidations advice for both landlords and tenants, building condition reports, building reinstatement cost assessments, party wall negotiations and neighbourly advice.

The successful candidate will join a team which prides itself on strong and productive relationships with many other parts of the business including their agency, investment, planning and development teams. You will be expected to build upon the portfolio of clients from your existing expertise. Leading the development of the Building Consultancy team, you will be expected to build a portfolio of key clients both internally and externally, founded upon technical expertise. You will also be expected to mentor junior members ensuring they reach their potential.

The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified and have 5 years PQE in commercial property. The role is client facing and would suit an ambitious individual who is well presented, has good written and verbal communication skills. You will be highly motivated, hardworking and with a can-do attitude who wants to help shape the future direction of the team.
