My client is a Property Finance company that are currently looking for a Qualified Surveyor to join their London team. Investing primarily across the UK and also internationally, this niche company operates in prime destinations continuously looking to capitalise on their existing portfolio which now stands at roughly £1 Billion. The position would suit a Surveyor that is looking to gain full exposure to a property portfolio and help the Directors grow the business.
Experience:
- Must have actual working experience of leases and possess experience of investment property management.
- Can read a lease, understand alienation, service charge, insuring and repairing obligations. Can negotiate these on new leases with tenants and give relevant instructions to lawyers.
- Some experience of project monitor and contract administrator work (not essential).
- Development appraisals, assess deal viability, prepare tenders, negotiate a D&B contract (also not essential).
The successful candidate will be RICS Qualified and it would also be beneficial for the applicant to have previous experience of investment property management working for a prop co / landlord.
