Asset Manager Client – Valuation Surveyor

A market leading and highly successful investment manager known mainly for self-invested pension funds have instructed Beach Baker to recruit a MRICS Chartered Surveyor for their in-house property team based in Bristol.

The property team provides a range of key services including valuations nationwide to their large client base of pension holders on their commercial property portfolios. This will involve delivering valuations (red book and desktop), negotiating rent reviews and/or lease renewals also. The successful candidate will also need to communicate effectively with tenants and clients, working with senior management and integrating with other in-house teams where necessary. You will be a full RICS member and Registered Valuer status.

You must also have experience in providing red book valuations as well as some exposure to rent reviews and lease renewals for commercial asset classes. Provision of valuation and rental input advice for loan security, new acquisitions, development and pension benefit drawdown purposes is also required.

Knowledge of valuation software and reporting products e.g. Argus is very desirable.

We are seeking an experienced candidate who is newly MRICS up to 4 year’s post qualified experience. You will have experience working for a property consultancy already with a large element of your current role devoted to valuation or professional work within the commercial sector.
