West Bromwich industrial site sold for £1.5million

A Black Country industrial site has been sold to a traffic management and fencing specialist for £1.5 million.

Agents Harris Lamb sold the two units on Sams Lane, West Bromwich within three months of placing them on the market, further evidence that demand for industrial stock within the region is not abating.

The properties, which have a combined floorspace of 21,000 sq ft, set in an acre of land, were snapped up by Safe Fence for the asking price.

Tom Morley, who oversaw the sale, said: “Opportunities to buy modern warehouse premises within the West Midlands are scarce, and as predicted, we received a high number of enquiries for this opportunity, with Safe Fence acting quickly to secure it.

“This is a secure site, gated site set in an acre of land with the low site coverage leaving more than half of that space free for yard and car parking use.

“Safe Fence is the UK’s leading online supplier of temporary fencing, groundworks & traffic management equipment. The business wanted a good-sized premises in the heart of the country to facilitate and develop its UK and international operations.” he added.

TBD Real Estate was joint agent.
