Walled garden at Exbury welcomes The Family Dog Club

Keygrove Chartered Surveyors have been successful with the letting of a former walled garden (subject to planning) on behalf of The Exbury Estate. The Family Dog Club, who provide a full range of behavioural classes and training for dogs and puppies has taken a 5 year lease.

Keygrove Surveyor Lauren Udall commented “The Walled Garden is an attractive yet unusual space, next to the world renowned Exbury Gardens in the New Forest. We thought it would appeal to a tenant who could fit in with the rural, historic and open setting but also make good use of the space available. The Family Dog Club are the perfect fit, providing training classes and behavioural coaching for four legged friends, assisting their owners and training professional dogs for work purposes.”

Jeanette Muldoon from The Family Dog Club (previously Southern Pet Services) says “We are very excited to have the opportunity to work in this wonderful walled garden. We work with many dogs who will really benefit from having a safe enclosed area where they are able to explore and build their confidence, whether it is with other dogs, people or both, in turn helping the owners with the dogs’ behaviour. We are very passionate about helping the owners as much as the dogs, giving them a safe space to come and learn about their dogs and their behaviour. We are also looking to run a puppy school, training classes and a monthly Kids Club for children to gain experience with dogs.”
