Colliers International’s Investment Property Management (IPM) team has recently welcomed two new starters to strengthen its service to clients.

Izura Ikram joined as an Associate Director, from CBRE’s Portfolio Services team and George McCall joined as an Assistant Facilities Manager, having moved over from Interserve.

Martyn Edwards, Director of IPM in Birmingham, said: “It’s great to welcome two new members to our team. Izura’s vast experience of working for occupiers and before that local authorities means she brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. She understands exactly what occupiers need, a valuable skill complementing that of our customer experience team.”

Izura moved to the UK from Malaysia in 2010 to study to become a chartered surveyor, before working at Bedford Borough Council from 2012 managing the authority’s commercial property portfolio. She joins from CBRE’s Portfolio Services where she’s been since May 2017.

Before joining Colliers in November, George previously worked for Interserve managing properties for the BBC and Homeserve where he organised residential repairs. He’s currently studying for his Level 4 Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management qualification.

Mark Jarrett, Head of Investment and Property Management, added: “Our property management business continues to expand and we are committed to recruiting team members who can bring new skills to making our clients’ assets great places which work. The addition of Izura and George brings a real boost in the services we provide.”
