New business park planned for J28 of M5 at Cullompton

Sebale Construction, advised by Pepper Commercial in Exeter, have completed the purchase of 17.7 acres (7.16 hectares) of land off the Honiton Road A373 just off junction 28 of the M5 motorway at Cullompton in Devon. The land has an employment allocation within the emerging local plan for additional development within the Mid Devon area. A planning application will be submitted early in the new year for the road layout and plots will be available for sale shortly thereafter.

The land is available in acre plots with services brought to the boundary for owner occupiers to develop their own proposals. 6 acres has already been committed from 3 purchasers who intend upon building bespoke facilities.

Sebale Construction are proposing to develop two, unit schemes on the site, one which will provide 10 new 1,000 sq.ft. starter units either for sale or to let and a second scheme of around 5 units of 2,500 sq.ft. again either for sale or to let. Marketing is about to commence although interest in the site from the start has been significant as little unencumbered freehold land is available in the region.
