Pool firm dives in for Wilton unit

A swimming pool enclosures company has snapped up an industrial/warehouse unit at a popular business centre in Wilton which is home to many independent businesses.

Telescopic Pool Enclosures has agreed a six-year lease on Unit 8 at Wilton Business Centre in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.

The quoting rent for the 1,093 sq ft (101.54 sq m) unit was £8,000 per annum.

Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “Telescopic Pool Enclosures is the only manufacturer of made-to-measure pool enclosures in the UK.

“The company, which has been marketing retractable enclosures in the UK since 1991, has a history of constructing large span buildings such as conservatories, orangeries, glass extensions and swimming pool enclosures in timber, aluminium and Upvc.

“Telescopic Pool Enclosures also has a range of spas and hot tubs, retractable garden rooms and retractable buildings for the likes of restaurants, hotels and other concerns.

The unit is situated on the Wilton Business Centre on the eastern edge of the town. It has direct access from Kingsway to the A36 Warminster Road. It lies opposite Kingsway Business Centre and the Barnack Industrial Estate.

The property comprises a modern mid-terrace industrial/warehouse unit. The unit is of steel portal frame construction with PVC coated insulated cladding to walls and roof and part brick and blockwork elevations.

The unit includes a 740 sq ft (68.75 sq m) workshop and is also fitted with a 353 sq ft (32.79 sq m) first floor, previously arranged as an open plan office.
