GJS Dillon wins second prestigious industry award

Worcestershire commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has been named Most Active Agent 2019 in a prestigious industry award. This is the first year that GJS Dillon has won the award, which is organised by the Estates Gazette -a leading magazine in the commercial property market.

Earlier this month it was announced that Andrew Lewis, GJS Dillon’s Associate Director, has been named 2019’s Dealmaker of the Year for Worcestershire in the same set of awards. The agency has now won this particular award for 5 consecutive years.

GJS Dillon, which has offices in Droitwich, Worcester and Bromsgrove was established in 2010 and since then has advised on a number of key property transactions in Worcestershire for a range of clients including QinteiQ, Maximus and all eight local authorities.

During 2019 the firm has completed just under 100 deals across Worcestershire. Highlights include the sale of a 15,862 sq ft headquarters office building at Woodgate Valley, the letting of a 24,250 sq ft industrial unit to the Morgan Motor Company and over half a dozen transactions on the popular Saxon and Harris Business Parks in Bromsgrove. The consultancy has also expanded to include a proactive and tailored management service for property investors.

John Dillon, GJS Dillon’s Managing Director said ‘We are absolutely delighted to have won the most active agent award in Worcestershire for the first time and I would like to thank our hard-working team for helping to make this possible. This has most definitely been one of our best years ever and Q2 was the busiest we have experienced since we opened 9 years ago. As our Commercial Property Market Report highlighted at the beginning of the year, there is significant need for more commercial space in Worcestershire and a record five year low vacancy rate’

‘We are proud to be playing such an active role within Worcestershire’s vibrant business community and look forward to continued success in the years to come’
